I'm not a fan of "pick-up lines" nor using them. I can't even remember if there was a time I got engaged in a conversation using those. Although last year, my group mates decided to use it in our project for Sikolohiyang Filipino. Well, it seems nga it didn't work for me, kasi I ended up going for a solo and ibahin yung concept ng project ko, far from "pick-up lines" nga. Siguro kasi yun nga I'm not into "pick-up lines" though my close friends almost use it as a part of their daily conversation for quite sometime, lalo na nung kasagsagan na uso talaga sya.
Last Sunday, dahil walang magawa, nanood ako ng tv. Since wala masyado magandang palabas, napunta ko sa channel five. Airing ang Loko Moko U. May isang segment sila na na-caught yung attention ko at ewan ko, why ganun yung maging impact sakin nung portion. Empoy delivered his "pick-up line", "Hi, I'm Justin. Just-in case magbreak kayo, andito lang ako". Super natawa ko. For the very first time, naaliw ako sa isang "pick-up line". I don't know because natuwa at natuwa ba ko, or dahil nakarelate ako?
Parang I want to change my name tuloy for a moment and introduce myself as "JUSTIN". Just-in for, Just-in case mahipan sya ng hangin. Just-in case marealize nya na, may nag-eexist na "AKO". Just-in case, pwede kahit malabo pa sa tubig ng Manila Bay. Just-in for, Just-in case, just in case. Pero impossible talaga. I don't even want to entertain the thoughts.
Pero type ko talaga yung "JUSTIN" :)
